ALL THE MONEY WAS SPENT THIS SUMMER.  where in new york are you from? because on long island, i can have an amazing summer and spend no or next to no money.  I live in Brooklyn and I go to school in Manhattan. I have to pay rent, which is ridiculously expensive. I have to buy food. I have to buy face wash, shampoo, etc. I have to pay for the subway. I have to save up money for education. I’ve lived in Tel Aviv, which is supposedly one of the most expensive cities in the world, and even that can’t compare to New York City. You can find free concerts. But clubs usually have one drink minimums and alcohol is expensivo. I just tend to have overzealous reactions to OMG!NEWYORKCITY!PERFECT! Lo siento if I seem passive aggressive.
